I have lived, worked, and studied in Boulder County for most of the past 45 years. I attended law school at the University of Denver and worked in a number of legal positions and non-legal positions during that time. In my role as an attorney, I've appeared in state and federal trial courts, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Colorado Supreme Court. I've represented clients in litigation and counseled clients in connection with business formation, business disputes, and concerning estate planning, including drafting their wills and trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives. Estate planning continues to be an area I focus on. Additionally, since 2017 I have been working as a fiduciary serving as a conservator and agent pursuant to a power of attorney.
Outside of work, I spend time with family and friends. Bicycling, photography, and many social issues are among my additional interests. I have ridden more than 2,000 miles each of the past several years and the photographs on this website are my own unless otherwise noted.
